Join us for a 4 day-intensive of folkloric music and dance from Guinea, West Africa and Cuba! Workshops will be conducted by Master Guinean and Afro-Cuban musicians and dancers. This year’s focus is designed to offer participants greater depth into the multitude of traditional musical styles from Guinea and Cuba!
We split classes by level - all levels welcomed! Plus: Open mic night, Magbana performance, and
dance party!

Baba Richard Gonzalez is back by popular demand! We are very pleased to have him back at this years retreat Teaching Afro-Carribean dance. And along with Baba are his amazing drummers: Nick Laboy, Jose "Apache" Rivera, Jimmy Cruz, and Mathew Gonzalez.
In addition to the dance, we will hold Afro-Cuban Percussion and Shekere classes!
